"We can talk about breath
even manipulate it according to
some scheme or other, but only
when we actually sense it's rhythms
and movements in our own bodies
does it's inexplicable mystery help us
to open to ourselves."

"Consciousness is a symptom of dis-ease.
All that move well...moves without will.
All skillfulness, all strain, all intention is contrary to ease.
Practice a thousand times and it becomes difficult;
a thousand times a thousand and it becomes easy;
a thousand times a thousand thousand, and it is no longer."

Aleister Crowley

The Golden Pill

"Nourish yourself internally.
In peace, stillness and complete emptiness,
The hidden light of the origin will glow
To illuminate the entire body..."

Shaman's Cave

"Where inroads have been made in the bosom of
Mother Earth, the prophets of the Hidden World and
of the wisdom of God love to dwell...one has only to
think of the part played by interior of mountains
in the life of a Paracelsus, Jacob Boehme ,
Swedenborg, Novalis, Franz von Baader and
so many others..."

The Lotus and the Rose

The subject was enlightening suffice it to say:
To juxtapose the Lotus and the Rose in a way
We exclude their differences and include their relations
In order to unite the two spiritual nations

The challenge to use not the ear but the heart
And extend our reach so our touch might impart
An appreciation of Air...the cultivation of Chi
And the Art of Moving the primordial sea

Would the Greeks claim this Panacea
And it's dosage employed?
Will the Indian reveal the Prana
Most revered and enjoyed?

Might the Golden Elixir be the Elixir of Life,
Are they alchemically suited like husband and wife?
One claims the former and comes from the East
While the West sees the sun set...but not in the least

What method did they employ to extract the 'nature of air'
What time honored practice of posture or prayer?
But no matter which path we choose to enlist
We must always remember...continue... persist.

A Friend Along The Path
